Also, he serves as President of Korean Pulmonary Hypertension Society (2021~), Chair of Planning Committee of Korean Heart Failure Society (2024~), Chair of Policy Committee of Korean Society of Cardiology (2025~) and Editor-in-Chief of Right Heart Journal (2025~), the offical journal of EASOPH.

Currently, prof. Hyun-Sook Kim operates the CTD-ILD Multidisciplinary Clinic at Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital. Her clinical and research interests mainly focus on systemic sclerosis (SSc) and CTD-ILD, focuses on understanding the underlying mechanisms of SSc and CTD-ILD, particularly identifying novel biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets.
As of April 2025, she hold the positions of Director of Clinical Guidelines at the Korean College of Rheumatology (KCR) Association, President of the Imaging Research Group, and Advisor to the Scleroderma Research Group in KCR.
